CR2450 Material Description and MSDS

The CR2450 battery’s anode is composed of manganese dioxide powder and colloid graphite powder. Its cathode consists of a lithium slice. The internal electrolyte is a chemical mixture containing ethylene glycol dimethyl ether, propylene carbonate, and lithium perchloride. These internal components are housed within a protective “rind” made of a stainless steel shell. Additionally, the battery includes other materials such as a fiberglass septum and acetylene black.
