Compact Power for Thin Devices
With a maximum cell thickness of 4.0mm and a finished battery pack thickness of 4.2mm, the LP404050HV is suitable for handheld devices, portable instruments, wireless terminals, smart electronics, and other space-constrained products. The high-voltage 4.35V charge system helps deliver more usable energy than a standard 4.2V lithium polymer cell of similar size.

Charging and Discharging Performance
The standard charging method is 0.2C constant-current charging to 4.35V, followed by constant-voltage charging until the current declines to 0.01C. Standard charging current is 220mA, while rapid charging current can reach 1100mA under the specified charging conditions.
For discharge, the battery supports 220mA standard discharge and up to 1100mA maximum discharge current, with discharge ending at 3.0V. The cell is specified for no less than 600 cycles under the defined cycle-life test conditions.
Integrated Protection Board
This battery pack includes a PCM protection circuit using R5478N227CD protection IC, 8205 MOSFET, and 10K NTC temperature sensing. The protection board supports over-charge protection, over-discharge protection, over-current protection, short-circuit protection, and low standby current for safer operation in finished products.
Over-charge protection: typ. 4.375V
Over-discharge protection: typ. 2.500V
Over-current protection: typ. 4.0A
Internal resistance: typ. 45mΩ, max. 60mΩ
Operating and Storage Conditions
The LP404050HV battery pack is specified for charging from 10°C to 45°C and discharging from -20°C to 60°C, with operating humidity up to 90%RH. For best long-term storage, keep the battery in a cool, dry environment at 15°C to 35°C and maintain storage voltage between 3.6V and 3.9V.
When stored for extended periods, the battery should be checked and recharged about every six months to help preserve cell performance and service life.
Safety Notes
Use a dedicated lithium battery charger and follow the specified charge voltage, current, and temperature limits. Do not immerse the battery in water, reverse polarity, short-circuit the terminals, expose it to fire or high heat, pierce the pouch, directly solder the cell, or mix it with different battery models.
For product integration, all components near the pouch edges and tabs should be properly insulated, and damaged cells must not be used. Battery replacement should be handled by the cell supplier or device manufacturer.
